Machinery -Directive 98/37/EC

European Directive 98/37/EC refers to both machinery – movable, interchangeable and connected – and specific safety components placed on the market separately. It requires producers to provide their products with the CE mark and a declaration of conformity which certifies compliance with the basic health and safety requirements set down in the directive in question.
